So this weekend, whilst killing time before meeting up with J, I managed to purchase a brand spanking new copy of Tekken: Dark Resurrection for the ridiculously low price of $29.66 (usually retails for $49.99). God bless the stupid apathetic teenaged WalMart employee who forgot to take the sale price down from last week and then docked another $10 off the sale price instead of the original price as I'm sure his manager had really meant when she had to override the register.
This game is jaw droppingly beautiful, runs smooth like buttah, and is hella funtastic. If you own a PSP, you owe it to yourself to try it out. Now if only I could play it on a PSP this big!

Early last week, I stumbled upon 1UP's preview for Gangs of London. This upcoming PSP title is loosely based on The Getaway series for PS2 which models its environments and game maps around real world streets and locales in London. I've never really gotten into the franchise, but I still felt compelled to follow the link because of this feature. *I'm determined to actually travel out there before the year is through.
At the end of the article, a commenter points to the official website where, after viewing a rather lengthy but rad trailer, you are were able to score a free UMD demo copy of the cel-shaded \ graphic-novel-esque game. Luckily, I submitted my form before Sony removed the offer. So I'll be sure to post my thoughts on it once I receive it in the mail. *Hopefully, it'll be before late October \ early November so I can account for myself first hand how accurate the geography is.

In the grand tradition of hopping onto what's hot while it's still sizzling, I've decided to give this new "social networking site" a good twirly whirly around the block. It can't hurt any... might even help me out of my (creative) rut. Besides, my typepad account has pretty much been in a coma for nearly two months now. I think it's high time I try something free new. Who knows, maybe the integration here between the two services will revive some much needed life into both sites. Speaking of revival... I'm off to grab some grub.
